Record-Breaking Pembrokeshire Pantomime Highlights Power of Local Business Support

The organisers behind the Big Pembrokeshire Pantomime have credited strong partnerships with local businesses and organisations for delivering the most successful season in the production’s history.

The 2025 festive run of Aladdin attracted more than 6,000 audience members and played to near-capacity throughout December, marking a significant milestone for the Pembrokeshire-based production. Organisers say the scale and success of the season would not have been possible without the backing of sponsors and partners drawn largely from within the county.

Among those recognised was Pure West Radio, which acted as official media partner, helping to promote the production across Pembrokeshire during the busy festive period. Visit Pembrokeshire also supported the production, positioning the pantomime as part of the county’s wider winter visitor offering.

Accommodation for visiting cast and creatives was provided by Ty Hotel, while Vision Arts served as creative partner, contributing to the artistic direction and production standards of the show.

The production was additionally supported by a group of local sponsors, including Roscoe Tree Services, Dewslake Farm, Pembrokeshire Building and Plumbing Supplies, Sign Speed and Puffin Produce.

Producer Rhys Williams said the collaboration between the arts and local enterprise was central to the pantomime’s success.

He said the support received extended beyond financial backing, helping to deliver high production values while ensuring performances remained accessible to schools and families across the county.

With preparations already under way for the 2025 production of Peter Pan, organisers say they are keen to continue working with Pembrokeshire businesses as part of a long-term, community-focused approach to theatre.
