Welsh Hospitality Industry Shines as The Celtic Collection and ICC Wales Secure Triple M&IT Awards Shortlisting

Wales’ global reputation for excellence in business events and hospitality has received a major boost, as The Celtic Collection and ICC Wales celebrate triple nominations at the 2025 M&IT Awards — widely regarded as the most prestigious honours in the meetings and events industry.

The internationally recognised M&IT Awards, often referred to as the Oscars of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events) sector, have shortlisted the Welsh organisations in three highly competitive categories:

• Best Hotel Brand – The Celtic Collection

• Best UK Hotel – Celtic Manor Resort

• Best UK Conference Centre – ICC Wales

Voted for by professionals across the events sector, these nominations reaffirm the strong standing of Wales on the UK’s business events map. They also showcase the country’s capacity to compete with global hospitality giants, as The Celtic Collection stands alongside major international hotel brands such as Hilton, Marriott International, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Melia Hotels and Four Seasons.

The Celtic Manor Resort, already a ten-time winner of the Best UK Hotel category, continues to set benchmarks for luxury and event excellence. ICC Wales, located on the doorstep of Celtic Manor, has established itself as a powerhouse for UK and international conferences. After claiming Silver Awards for the past two years, its 2025 shortlisting for Best UK Conference Centre demonstrates its ongoing growth and industry impact.
