Affidea, a leading European provider of community-based clinics, advanced diagnostics, and specialist care services today announced the official launch of its new MRI service at the New Vision Business Park in St Asaph. This state‑of‑the‑art facility brings advanced diagnostic capabilities closer to local communities, supporting faster, more accurate diagnosis for patients and medical insights for clinicians across the region.
The opening of the St Asaph MRI service marks a significant milestone in Affidea’s strategic growth plan across the UK. This expansion focuses on delivering enhanced access to diagnostic imaging, outpatient services, specialist consultations and surgical pathways all delivered in a community setting.
As part of this multi‑year investment strategy, Affidea will open two major, high-tech, multi‑speciality surgical clinics over the next 18 months:
- Wimbledon Quarter, London – Q3 2026
- Belfast – Opening Q1 2027
Further site developments across England and Scotland will be announced later this year as Affidea continues to scale its footprint to meet rising demand for accessible, high‑quality healthcare.
The St Asaph centre features the latest MRI technology designed to enhance image quality while improving patient comfort. The service will support a wide range of clinical specialties, including orthopaedics, neurology, oncology, and general diagnostics.
