Businesses across South Wales are being offered the chance to train staff in life-saving workplace skills thanks to a two-for-one promotion on an upcoming First Aid at Work course.
Training provider First Rate Training has announced a special offer allowing organisations to book two spaces for the price of one on its three-day course taking place in March.
The training will be delivered at the Baglan Innovation Centre in Port Talbot between March 17 and March 19. The venue is just minutes from both junctions 41 and 42 of the M4, set in one of Wales’ premier business and industrial locations.
The First Aid at Work qualification is widely recognised and helps organisations meet workplace safety responsibilities by ensuring staff are prepared to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
The course costs £210 plus VAT per person, but the current promotion means two participants can attend for the same price.
Throughout the three-day programme, participants will take part in interactive training sessions designed to develop practical first aid skills and build confidence when responding to incidents such as injuries, illness or cardiac emergencies.
Successful candidates will receive a First Aid at Work certificate which remains valid for three years. A reference manual is also provided to help participants refresh their knowledge after completing the course.
The training is suitable for businesses, community organisations and individuals seeking to gain a recognised first aid qualification.
